Admiral John Stufflebeem is an independent consultant and sole proprietor of the NJS Group, LLC, which provides strategic communications and crisis management solutions to clients. He is a retired U.S. Navy flag officer who served as Director of the Navy Staff, Commander US 6th Fleet, and served on the Joint Staff and in the White House as Military Aide to the President, including acting as spokesman for the Pentagon during the 9-11 response.
Gord Breese, former Global VP at SAP. Gord is an accomplished technology executive with over 20 years of leadership experience at SAP, Apple, Oracle, Business Objects and Pivotal Software. His role at SAP as Global Vice President, Channels and Ecosystem, included driving revenue for SAP’s portfolio of systems integrators, outsourcing and technology partners. Today, Gord is an active entrepreneur with interests in several emerging tech businesses, with a special focus on applications and solutions in high-growth markets.
Gord Janzen, President and COO, Elastic Path Software. Gord has held leadership positions in the technology industry for over 20 years. He began his career with IBM in technical roles, and went on to lead a highly successful consulting practice that helped launch some of the world’s earliest major ecommerce sites. Gord joined Elastic Path in 2004 as a board member and came on as a full-time executive in 2006. He is responsible for strategic planning, building the Elastic Path team, international and strategic partner development, and the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Wilbert (Bud) Kanke is an award-winning entrepreneur who founded and managed over 30 companies and projects. He is best known for his 11 restaurants that generated over $500 million in sales. Throughout the years, Bud has served on boards and in management roles in public and private sector enterprises, and is currently the President of K Group Holdings Inc. and Kanke Management Inc. Bud was elected to the Fellowship of Chartered Accountants in 2010 and is an active Financial Advisor to ePACT.
Judy Shirra, School Board Trustee, School District 43. Judy has been a School District Trustee in School District 43 for 10 years. She is currently Vice-Chair of the Coquitlam Board of Education, a title she has held since 2010. Judy became involved with public education in 1988 during the roundtable discussion “For Our Children” initiative. She then joined the Parent Teachers Association (PTA now known as PAC) at Glen Elementary School, soon becoming PAC Chair, and remains an active member of DPAC, the Canadian Parents for French, and the Block Parent Association.
Bernadette Woit, Emergency Preparedness Consultant, is widely regarded as a premier leader in B.C. emergency preparedness. She co-authored the “Emergency Management for North Shore Schools” manual (1999/2000) with Ross Peterson, and acts as a consultant for several Lower Mainland schools. Bernadette is part of the North Shore Emergency Management Office’s (NSEMO) Emergency Management Team (EMT) and Emergency Social Services (ESS), while also serving as the president of Emergency Social Services of BC (ESSA) and a committee member of ShakeOut BC.
