The ePACT team is constantly reviewing client feedback and using it to develop new and improved features in the system. Today, we’re excited to show you two new features – one that makes ePACT even easier to use and another that improves communications with your members. Here’s a look at what’s new in ePACT:
In every ePACT account, you can assign organization administrators who have access to all member records, as well as group administrators. Appointing group administrators is a great way to enhance privacy and confidentiality, as these admins can only see the members of the group they are assigned to. For example, a coach can only see the athletes on their team or a camp counsellor can only see the members at their camp location.
With our new administrator dashboard, it’s incredibly easy to manage all your administrators:
- Whether you have 5 administrators or 500, you can upload them from a spreadsheet and assign them to the entire organization or the specific groups they belong to.
- Send an invite to all of your administrators at once, and easily monitor who has or has not accepted.
- For those who are still outstanding, send a single email reminder to all to ensure they accept their invite.
All in all, the ePACT administrator dashboard makes it faster and easier to invite the coaches and safety managers for your sports league, or to manage the leaders at your daycare programs. Plus, you can keep track of who has accepted their administrator role to make sure everyone has access to these critical records in an unexpected situation!
Have you ever needed to communicate with parents to coordinate a pick-up from practice, or ensure they received a schedule change about tomorrow’s field trip? This is where ePACT’s roll call functionality comes into play – a tool for two way communications via text message!
With our roll call feature, you can send a text message to your members with pre-determined responses, like ‘Reply 1 to confirm receipt’, or a custom response, like ‘Reply 2 if you are unable to pick up your child’.
Once you send the message, you can monitor the responses from your ePACT dashboard to speed up communications. The system will monitor whether each member has responded with 1 or 2, so you adjust plans as you need to.
Roll call gives you the ability to communicate with individual members, selected groups, or the entire organization. So if a child falls sick at camp, or there is a flood at the field, you have the communications tool you need to respond quickly and effectively.
